    XLRI Jamshedpur provides a range of scholarships and financial assistance options to enable students to excel academically. The scholarships are aimed at recognising academic merit, encouraging diversity and supporting students requiring financial assistance.  Need-based and merit-based scholarships are offered for a number of courses, such as PGDM (BM), PGDM (HRM), PGDM (GM) etc.

    The institute offers a Merit Scholarship to those students who perform well in academics.  These scholarships are usually offered based on the ranking, CGPA or entrance test performance of the student. There are some scholarships that are offered by XLRI alumni or corporate sponsors and others are offered by the government or private trusts.

    Students facing financial difficulties are also eligible for need-based financial aid. XLRI reviews candidates' financial history on the basis of income statements and other relevant information before granting tuition fee waivers or partial refunds.

    Aditya Birla Group, Pirojsha Godrej Foundation and various firms also offer corporate scholarships. These tend to be competitive and the students have to apply directly or through the XLRI administration.

    Scholarships are also provided for targeted student groups, including SC/ST, economically weaker sections (EWS) and physically challenged students, on government or foundation criteria.
