IIM Nagpur Placement 2025: Indian Institute of Management (IIM-Nagpur) marked a remarkable and historic year by providing placement to all the students of the MBA for the batch 2023-2025. Achievements of the university regarding gender diversity, industry awards and international placement opportunities were highlighted and marked in the 9th convocation ceremony. 

The mean packages recorded were ₹ 18.07 Lakhs per annum. The highest placement offer was of ₹ 69.57 lakhs per annum, with  ₹ 2.70 lakhs as the highest summer internship placement. 

Gender Representation: 46% women graduating in the MBA Batch

There has been a recorded increase of 3% in the overall percentage of women graduating with an MBA degree. Last year, this percentage was 43%. The total number of women graduating stood at 123 out of the 267 graduates of the regular MBA batch. This rise in the number of women graduating was marked and emphasised by Prof. Bhimaraya Metri. He stated that this rise reflects the university’s commitment and support towards building an equal and supportive learning environment for management education. 

100% Placement recorded with the Deemed Multinational Companies.

IIM Nagpur achieved a 100% placement (Final or Permanent placement) for the batch 2023-2025 with the top recruiters and giant multinational companies like Microsoft, Amazon, BNP Paribas, Vedanta and many others. This record-breaking or outstanding offer was secured by three students and four students grabbed the international offer. This batch’s placement has marked the university’s reputation as a preferred talent source. 

Recorded Salaries and High-Paying Internships

Talking about the final placement this year, the highest placement salary offer recorded was ₹ 69.57 Lakhs per annum. However, summer internships peaked at ₹ 2.70 Lakhs. The recorded average package (average CTC) for the final placements is ₹ 18.07 Lakhs per annum and ₹ 89,856 in the case of the summer internships. This has marked a strong recruiter confidence and increasing compensation benchmarks. 

MBA Programs provided by IIM-Nagpur

The MBA program comprised a total of 329 students:

• Regular MBA program: 267

• Executive MBA program in Pune Campus: 35

• Executive MBA program in Nagpur Campus: 27

To commemorate IIM Nagpur's increasing academic footprint, 62 students received Executive MBA certificates at the convocation.

New recruiters

Prof Bhimaraya Metri has highlighted that the university has recorded its cent percent placement in the case of final placements this year for the batch of 2023-2025. Bhimaraya Metri has given credit to the Career Development Services(CDS) team and appreciated the efforts of the Student Placement Committee. 

He quoted- “This year, 89 new recruiters joined for final placements and 98 for summer internships, underscoring growing industry trust and positioning IIM Nagpur as a hub of opportunity.” 

In total, 62 students received Executive MBA certificates at the convocation ceremony. The placement season saw recruitment offers from top companies like Microsoft, Adani Group, BNY Mellon, Cognizant, Aditya Birla Capital, Tata Power, Axis Bank, Deloitte and many others. Moreover, Mr. Metri has highlighted that 89 new recruiters have participated in the final placement and 98 new recruiters have participated in the case of summer internships. This has reflected the growing confidence of the companies in IIM-Nagpur’s talent pool.
