IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test)

The integrated MBA program (BBA + MBA) at IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak requires IPMAT (Indore and Rohtak). After clearing the exam, applicants get admission into the 5-year IPM program. The IPM exam is conducted on a national level.

Exam Format: Quantitative Aptitude multiple type questions, Quantitative Aptitude short answer type questions and Verbal Ability multiple choice questions are asked in this examination. The duration of the exam is two hours and emphasises analytical, mathematical and verbal reasoning abilities.

Eligibility: Applicants should have passed Class 12 or any equivalent exam from any stream with at least 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). For the general category, the applicant's age should be not least 20 years.

Exam Purpose: The objective of the IPMAT is to select candidates in academics who possess problem solving skills and place them in top management positions. It is also a good program for students interested in starting their careers in corporate after passing class 12.

CUET (Common University Entrance Test)

The CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG is a national level entrance exam for undergraduate programs at central universities and many other participating institutions in India. 

Exam Format: The exam is conducted online, in multiple sessions and consists of objective-type questions (MCQs). It will test students on a variety of areas, including language, general knowledge and domain-specific topics relevant to the courses they want to pursue. The exam is further divided into three sections: Language Proficiency, Domain Knowledge and General Aptitude and students opt for subjects as per their desired undergraduate course.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed class 12 or its equivalent from an accredited school. The percentage and subject requirement will vary from university to university and program to program, but there is no age limit for the exam.

Exam Purpose: The primary aim of CUET UG is to ensure a centralised, uniform platform for the admission of students all over India, based on merit rather than the different entrance criteria. It simplifies the process of admission, giving each student equal opportunities, regardless of location or board of education. UGAT (Undergraduate Aptitude Test)

The All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the national admission exam known as the AIMA UGAT (Undergraduate Aptitude Test). Admission to undergraduate programs, including BBA and Integrated MBA requires it.  It is typically carried out on paper as well as on computers. Many colleges in India accept UGAT scores for admission.  Students who have completed or are preparing for Class 12 may apply for this exam. 

Exam Format: The exam is conducted in both online and offline formats that include objective-type questions. It consists of four primary portions.  English language skills, numerical and data analysis, logic, general intelligence and knowledge. Some courses may have extra portions, that is, service aptitude or scientific aptitude.

Eligibility: A candidate must have completed or be appearing for the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board to be eligible for the UGAT. There is no minimum percentage requirement, but each college has its own admissions criteria.

SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test)

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) administers the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) an entrance exam unique to the institution to applicants for undergraduate degrees.

Exam Format: The exam is held online and consists of MCQs. Its four primary sections are general English proficiency, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and analytical & logical reasoning. It has a duration of 60 minutes and its various sections include language skills, math ability, general knowledge and logical reasoning.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this exam, the candidate should have passed or appeared in class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks. For SC/ST and persons with disabilities, 45% marks are required. However, courses have different prerequisites, such as mandatory subjects or a greater percentage.

Exam Purpose: The purpose of the SET is to have a standardised admission platform for Symbiosis University's undergraduate programs. It assesses a person's ability and skills, thus making the selection process clear and merit-based. The SET is ideal for those who want to attend Symbiosis due to its excellent education and undergraduate programs.

NMIMS NPAT 

NPAT or NMIMS Programs After the 12th class, an entrance exam is held for admission to courses such as BBA and BBM. Through NPAT scores, all the NIMS campuses, like  Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai and Indore offer BBA admission The exam is administered as a computer-based test from the testing centre.

Exam Format: The test is administered in CBT format online. It consists of an objective-type question format (MCQs). It is separated into three parts: general intellect and reasoning, English language competency and quantitative and arithmetic aptitude. The exam lasts 2 hours and normally consists of 120 questions, some for the programs that one applies for in schools.

Eligibility: Candidates applying for the examination must have passed or appeared for Class 12 or an equivalent examination from any recognised board with at least 50% marks. The NPAT exam has no age restriction.

DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test)

The DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test) is an entrance exam. The exam is carried out at a state level by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To admit students for specific undergraduate degrees at Delhi University, the exam is conducted. 

Exam Format: The exam must be taken for undergraduate programs like BBA-FIA and BMS. The form of the exam organisation will be online with objective-type questions. The number of questions, the duration and the subjects tested vary by program. The common sections are Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, General English and General Knowledge. Two hours are allotted for the test.

Eligibility: To be eligible for DUET, students must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum percentage specified for their selected program (typically 50%-60%, depending on course and category). There are no age limits for appearing in DUET.

The Christ University Entrance Test is an entrance test for an undergraduate course with a view of admitting students in various BBA programs.

The St. Xavier's BMS Entrance Test is the entrance exam for the Mumbai based St. Xavier's College Bachelor of Management Studies program.

Exam Format: The exam is conducted online and involves multiple-choice questions. Normally, it has sections on General Knowledge, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and English Language and Comprehension. The duration is normally around 1.5 to 2 hours and has questions up to 100-150 in number.

Eligibility: The eligibility of the candidates includes having passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). The maximum age limit of the candidates belonging to the general category is around 20 years, and for the reserved category, there is some relaxation.
