IIM Lucknow And JK Organisation Gave Prestigious Leadership Awards To Honour India's Changemakers

The JK Organisation and IIM Lucknow co-hosted the Lakshmipat Singhania National Leadership Awards Ceremony. India's finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, was the guest of honour and the keynote speaker at the ceremony awarding some of the nation's most inspiring and revolutionary leaders. The ceremony established in honour of the visionary industrialist and philanthropist Late Lakshmipat Singhania, commemorated some of India's finest leaders who are shaping the nation's future through revolutionary initiatives.

The event was attended by many important guests. These guests are N. K. Singh, Jury Chairman; Harshpati Singhania, Managing Director and Chairman of JK Paper Ltd.; Professor (Dr) M. P. Gupta, Director of IIM Lucknow; Raghupati Singhania, Vice Chairman of JK Organisation; and Vinita Singhania, Chairperson of JK Lakshmi Cement.

Smt Nirmala Sitharaman's keynote address was centred on India's journey to becoming an advanced nation. She said that leaders of vision make their contribution by tackling issues of the day and thinking ahead. These leaders are leading transformation in science, government and service in communities. She praised IIM Lucknow for its work in nurturing ethical and influential future leaders.

Raghupati Singhania, Vice Chairman of the JK Organisation, said that it was an honour to identify leadership and nation-building. He further said that the Lakshmipat Singhania National Leadership Awards reflect the values of honesty, innovation, and social accountability. He spoke about how the JK Organisation aids sustainable development in areas like education, health care and employment, especially in Tamil Nadu.

JK Paper Ltd Chairman Harshpati Singhania said that the awards had been instituted to identify leaders who shape India's future. He said that great leadership in business, research and community work can change lives. He appreciated IIM Lucknow for creating such leaders and thanked the winners for their incredible efforts.

Dr MP Gupta, Director of IIM Lucknow, said the awards reflect the values that IIM Lucknow stands for: ethical leadership, vision and inclusive growth.
