Sandhya Shekhar, PGP 1984, has carved a thriving profession as an independent director and advisor, with expertise in company strategy and digital transformation. Her experience and expertise have placed her among the top in the corporate world, earning her this honorary award from the institution that nurtured her. Her counsel has guided numerous organisations through trying digital times, enabling them to stay ahead in an evolving market.

Prashant Jain, the current managing director and chief investment officer of 3P Investment Managers, graduated from PGP in 1991. With more than three decades of investment management experience, Jain's vision and leadership have influenced the investment landscape and brought him this accolade. His investment approach not only yielded enormous returns but also created a generation of financial experts.

Mathew Cyriac who is now Executive Chairman of Florintree Advisors and co-founder of Yali Capital is passed out from PGP in 1994. Cyriac's distinguished 30-year career in private equity has seen him make significant contributions to the profession, which have been recognised by this award. His innovative strategies and commitment to excellence have raised the bar in the private equity sector.

Alumnus Vineet Saraiwala of PGP Class of 2015 is famous for his trailblazing efforts in advocating disability inclusion in corporate India. Being the founder and CEO of Atypical Advantage, Saraiwala's efforts have contributed immensely to the world of social service and thus earn him this extremely coveted award. His projects not only provided career opportunities to the disabled but also generated awareness about the need for workplace diversity.

On June 15 on the occasion of IIM Bangalore's reorientation of PGP program and PGPBA,the Distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented. A citation would be given to each award recipient and their names being engraved on the Institute's Wall of Fame to honour their accomplishments and services to society in their respective fields.
