MAT examination in paper-based format is scheduled to be conducted on May 31, 2025, while the MAT exam in computer-based format will be conducted on June 8, 2025.

MAT (Management Aptitude Test)

Since 1988, Business Schools (B-Schools) have employed the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), a uniform national-level test. This test is conducted to evaluate applicants aspiring for admission to MBA programs and allied courses. MAT has been approved as a national test for management courses by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in 2003..  With its revised subject orientation, shorter exam time and streamlined exam segments, the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a contemporary admission test. 

How to Apply 

The application process for MAT 2025 has begun and candidates interested can apply for the PBT MAT 2025 till May 2, 2025 and for CBT MAT 2025 till Jun 2, 2025. Candidates have to apply online on  https://mat.aima.in/ , the official website of (AIMA) MAT. Candidates need to register for the exam by creating a login ID. In case students need to register again or reapply for the exam, they can do so by simply logging into their existing account.  Candidates can choose the mode of the examination in the MAT application form. 

Admit cards 

As per the above schedule, all the applicants who have provisionally registered for CBT MAT 2025 or PBT MAT 2025 are required to download the admit card from the AIMA MAT official website at https://mat.aima.in/. 

 Important details such as the name of the candidate, form number, roll number, test date, test time and address of the test centre would be mentioned on the admit card. The candidate is required to follow the exact time and date mentioned on the admission card.

Procedure to apply for the MAT 2025

The registration and application form submission for AIMA MAT 2025 is through the online mode. Steps to apply are listed below:

• Visit the official website of AIMA MAT at  https://mat.aima.in/. 

• Go to the register option and enter the details asked for.

• Review the details and confirm them details and hit the submit button.

•  To confirm registration, your phone number must be verified using the OTP you received.

• The student will receive the new login details on the registered email ID.

• Now students need to select the mode of examination, date, city and other details.

• Students will be asked to attach a recent photo of passport size and and signature. 

• Students need to select any 5 MBA courses according to their choice.

• Students will be asked to pay ₹ 22,00 as a fee.

• Students will be asked to place their address, academic details and personal information on the new page that will be displayed on the screen.

• To complete the process, students need to check the declaration box.
