What is the AIMA MAT Exam 2025?

In 2003, the Ministry of Education and the Government of India recognised the Management Aptitude Test, also referred to as the MAT Exam, as the National Level Management Exam. Since 1988, the All India Management Association (AIMA) has been in charge of it.

The MAT test is the most popular and candidate-friendly management test since it is conducted in four cycles which are February, May, August and December.

There are three ways to take the Management Aptitude Test, or MAT: offline, also known as a paper-based test (PBT); online, also known as a computer-based test (CBT); and remotely proctored, also known as an internet-based test (IBT). Candidates may try as many times as necessary in the mode they have chosen, but they must register for each session separately.
