IIM Ahmedabad Launches 6-Day Leadership Program for Public Sector Executives
The initiative was started in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and SCOPE (Standing Conference of Public Enterprises). Shri Adil Zainulbhai who is the CBC Chairperson, SCOPE Director General Shri Atul Sobti, IIM Ahmedabad Director Prof. Bharat Bhaskar, Dr. Alka Mittal who is the CBC Member and IIM-A Executive Education Chairperson Prof. Pradyumana Khokle were among the prominent figures present.
Approximately 75 senior executives from various public enterprises are participating in the program which is being conducted at IIM Ahmedabad. IIM Ahmedabad is an educational partner and McKinsey & Company is the knowledge partner.
DAKSH is an abbreviation used for Development of Aspiration, Knowledge, Succession & Harmony. The scheme employs case studies, interactive sessions and dialogues to make the participants visionary, responsive leaders. It is geared to change old mindsets and inspire innovation within India's public sector.
This venture can be used as an example to build the next wave of resilient, capable leaders within the public service.
