Coal India Limited (CIL) has partnered with IIM Mumbai to provide a special training program for its executives.The "Logistics and Operations Excellence through Digitisation" Executive Post Graduate Program (PGPEx) is currently in its second session.

Coal India Joins Hands with IIM Mumbai to Educate Executives in Digital Logistics

In front of top officials from both sides, the MoU was signed during a function at the IIM campus by Prof. Manoj K. Tiwari who is the Director of IIM Mumbai and Dr. Vinay Ranjan who is the Director of Coal India.

This one-year program is meant to educate Coal India executives in digital techniques and tools applied in operations and logistics. The goal is to enable them to enhance supply chain effectiveness, enhance operations management and spearhead digital transformation in the company.

The initiative aligns with the Government of India's PM Gati Shakti scheme aimed at enhancing transport and infrastructure in the country. Through this collaboration, Coal India looks to future-proof its workforce by establishing powerful leadership abilities and promoting innovation in its day-to-day operations.
