How Are CAT 2025 Test Centres Allotted to the Candidates?
While filling the CAT 2025 exam form the candidates get an option to choose their test centres. Upto five cities only candidates can choose their preferred cities in the order of their preference. The nearest test centre will be allotted to the test-taker on the basis of their availability by the organising committee.

Can You Switch the Location of Your CAT 2025 Exam?
Typically, it is not possible to change exam centres after form submission. Nevertheless, for unusual and valid reasons, you can approach the exam helpdesk. The decision to approve is entirely with CAT authorities, so it's necessary to make your city preferences wisely during registration.

Do’s and Dont’t on the CAT 2025 Exam Day
For a hassle-free experience, candidates are required to adhere to these key directions on exam day:
What to Do:
Your CAT 2025 admit card should be brought in two printing copies.
A copy of your official government photo ID should be brought.
Make sure to get to the testing site at least 90 minutes early.
Using the reference number listed on the admit card, locate your exam location.
Only occupy the test centre that has been assigned to you.
What Not to Do:
Do not carry any electronic devices (mobile, smartwatch, calculator).
Avoid metal jewelry, jacket, cap or closed footwear.
Do not report late – gate closes 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam.
Do not quarrel or misbehave with staff or fellow candidates.
Do not use the keyboard while the test is being taken – your system may freeze.

No, you cannot change the venue of your CAT exam after you have submitted your application and a centre has been allotted to you. Make a wise choice.
About two or three weeks before the exam, you may download your CAT admit card which will have your exact address of the CAT exam center.
Occasionally, the exam organising authority can allot you a centre in the nearest city if all of the available seats in the cities that you have chosen are filled.
