The activity was organised in collaboration with IIM Trichy's Placement Committee and witnessed active participation from more than 550 first-year students. IIM Trichy Hosts Godrej LOUD 2025 and Rural Governance Program

In contrast to conventional case competitions LOUD invites students to express and actualise their own dreams rather than find solutions to standard business cases. Senior Godrej executives including Ms Vidhi Verma who is the AVP of Godrej Agrovet and Mr. Abhay Parnerkar who is the CEO of Godrej Foods spoke about the importance of purpose leadership and generating value in careers through fulfilling experiences. Past LOUD winners who now work with Godrej also discussed how the platform enabled them to materialise their dreams into actual differences.

During the Q&A session, students inquired about Godrej Agrovet's expansion plans, sustainable farming and innovation within various company divisions. They also gained information about Godrej's social initiatives such as Sakhi, FarmSakhi and Godrej Ki Shakti that empower rural women involved in agriculture and manufacturing.

The very next day i.e. on July 28, 2025 the campus had another significant occasion which was the inauguration of the Management Development Program (MDP) for government officials and elected members under the RRGSA scheme by Tamil Nadu's Rural Development Department.

Together, these two events reflect IIM Tiruchirappalli’s ongoing efforts to shape future leaders who can bring positive change in both the business world and public service. By connecting with industry leaders and government officials the institute continues to build a strong foundation of leadership based on purpose, innovation and social impact.
