SP Jain Global to Introduce Master's in Applied Finance with CFP Accreditation

A new Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management (MFWM) program has been launched by the SP Jain School of Global Management. The program has received accreditation by the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) India which is a CFP standard recognition. This renders the course internationally recognised and aligned to academic, ethical and industry standards.

SP Jain Global to Introduce Master's in Applied Finance with CFP Accreditation

Through this alliance with FPSB India, SP Jain Global intends to initiate joint research, industry seminars, guest lectures and professional training for working professionals. The institute also wants to strengthen its Applied Finance program and make it more industry-focused.

As per FPSB India, this partnership will enhance the overall quality of financial education in the country, enhance employability and increase confidence in financial planning as a career. The program brings SP Jain Global's academic rigour together with FPSB India's international standards to equip students for Indian as well as international markets.

The official release also said that the CFP certification as well as the postgraduate program will make graduates more employable not just in India but internationally as well. SP Jain Global also anticipates expanding its industry partnerships through the program.

The memorandum of understanding between SP Jain Global and FPSB India was signed at the Mumbai campus of the institute.  The CEO of FPSB India Krishan Mishra, the head of business development at FPSB India Teena Rawal, Ram Kartha who is the CEO of SP Jain Global, Arindam Banerjee who is the program director for MFWM and Saurabh Saraswat who is the deputy director for MFWM were present at the signing.
